What 'custom' actually means
A store-bought shade is cut to size from a standard roll. A custom treatment is built to your exact opening, inside or outside mount, in the fabric and operating style you choose, finished the way you want it to hang. The difference is visible from across the room — correct proportions, clean stacks, hardware that fits, and fabric that falls right.
Because we fabricate in-house, we control quality at every step and can solve the windows that defeat off-the-shelf products: arches, bays, corner wraps, oversized glass, and the tall prewar windows that are everywhere in Manhattan.

How the process works
It starts with a complimentary in-home consultation: we measure every window, look at your light at different times of day, and bring fabric samples into your actual space. We design the whole-home palette so nothing looks mismatched, fabricate in Brooklyn, and install with our own team. You get a line-by-line proposal before you commit to anything.
